Right, with the people who've posted overnight, I think I've found everyone on my flists in the Holiday Love Meme. I was going to say point me at yours if I haven't gotten to you but then I remembered that it's ANONYMOUS, duh. (If there is someone in yours who sounds like me--a weird combination of Wisconsin, Glasgow, Yorkshire, and Western Massachusetts, it likely is.) I feel like I should respond to each of you. If I do, I'll post about it here so you don't have to go find me again.

Forgive me, I was up for several hours in the night. This is why they tell you not to swallow big pills and then lie down, because you end up with essentially heartburn at 4 am: drug-induced esophagitis

It is not fun.

Also, I am sick and tired of perfume/cologne adverts. They are absolutely everywhere on UK telly right now and they're usually...well, you know, perfume commercials. They're incoherent soft-focus narratives in the vein of Chris Isaak's video for Wicked Game. I guess they're meant to convey 'the emotion' of a scent, but they just end up being fucking ridiculous as a whole. The only one I like is the Jeunet-directed Chanel No. 5 with Audrey Tautou.

Today, I think I shall do more vidding, and then possibly blog at my saniblog about mulled wine for fun and no particular profit. The next few days are going to be busy (GP tomorrow, shrink Tuesday, Asda delivery and gin tasting [?!] Wednesday), so might as well faff about today. And drakyndra has reminded me of the holiday market at St. Enoch, which I've been meaning to get to, one of these days.

And now I have Fleetwood Mac's 'Gypsy' in my head. Ah well.

Doing that movie quotes meme because I HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO AND MY BRANE IS STILL FRIED. Yes, the OAD has been submitted, and yours truly spent over eight hours on a train yesterday, and yeah.
