Doctor Who, or, Not Humming Savin' Me, I Promise.

As a plus, we're reminded that the Doctor breaks everything. In a less appallingly manpainy way than Ten, thank god...but I like my Doctor like my coffee (dark and bitter) from time to time. As MG noted on Twitter, omgomg Curse of Fenric.

As a minus, WHY DO THE LIKEABLE POC ALWAYS DIE? Rita was AMAZE. Couldn't we have had her live and then, if need be, decline to go with the Doctor? Easy peasy.
And 'Amy Williams', what the shit is up with that? I recognise what he was doing but as someone read as female who didn't change hir name, I am not impressed.

Just a reminder: it wouldn't be DW if Gillan and Darvill don't show up again in 6x13. We're not done with the story arc, thus why I'm not overfussed about this turn of events.

By the way, my guess is that the Doctor's fear was likely River/Melody based, or all of the dead companions. Otherwise I don't see him doing this aboutface so quickly.
