Were there any particular discoveries (films, books, comics...) that you'd recommend as the Best of 2010?

Everyone needs to read Feed by Mira Grant, imho. Also, I read the first three volumes of Warren Ellis' comic Planetary, which is pretty damn awesome, as is Global Frequency. Neither of those two comics were new release, though.

It was not a particularly memorable year in film for me, but I didn't go to the movies much.
