Just putting it out there publicly and stirring shit up.
I am not bothered by immortal!Doctor, for several reasons:
- It's Sarah Jane Adventures, which I don't entirely buy as canonical.
- It may not be explicitly stated, from the wording of Guardian's article.
- How many times has Doctor Who contradicted itself in terms of canon rules? ABOUT TEN MILLION.
- GEEKY ALERT: As someone notes in the Guardian comments, the twelve regeneration limit was a Time Lord imposition and artificial. None of their governance, no limit.
All I can say is that I've learned to roll with the punches; paradigms in this fandom shift regularly without a clutch. It'll be okay.

Now i wish i'd snagged the River icon that says "You leave the brakes on", and then had flashing text along the lines of "Like The Master" / "And The Rani" / and someone i don't remember / "And all Time Lords ever."
