Anyone able to fill me in on what happened on Glee with regards to OCD and Emma? I've seen it referenced (by jmtorres) but can't find anything further, and as we all know, I am very invested in representations of OCD in media, whether good, bad or ugly.

And no, I'm not gonna sit down and watch the show just to find out.

I thought that post was about fandom, not the show? I may be wrong as it was a little cryptic.

For the show, I don't think it's erased her OCD at all. She's said that she was trying to get past it, and that she mixed grape colours or something, but she didn't say she was completely cured or anything like that. I'm not sure if there isn't an overreaction to the scene I mention happening?

Try the links here - the LJ link seems to suggest it could be about that scene. I don't know, though. I have not seen the latest episode yet, and I could be parsing this all wrong.

No worries! I saw it there and was all BZUH and confused wrt whether it was this week's or last, and what was going on.

I am, of course, not best thrilled with the portrayal overall.

Well, I don't think that they are saying she is cured. I don't see that on the show at all. She is 'trying' whatever that means, but she doesn't say she's cured or anything at all like that.

Honestly it was more used as a device to annoy Will I thought.

Will do--I wish there was a good synopsis collection site, really, as it'd be handy for analysis. Also, my ADD!memory means that I often forget bits of shows I've seen...

Bits being like, entire subplots. (As in, my infamous quotable moment in college where I thought a fanfic was an actual episode of Star Trek: TNG.)
