The Doctor's Wife: FIRST POST ON MY FLIST/DWCIRCLE, HA I WIN.
I await my part of fandom jumping all over this stuff, and as I said--really good plotarc fodder with strong implications.
Though I really figured out a lot of what was going to happen...and I'm a bit disappointed that we don't get more of the long-lasting emotional implications of what happened to Amy and Rory. It's probably leading up to some serious residual issues regarding Rory the centurion in the second half of the season, is my guess. I'd hope so, anyway.
Matt thinks The Girl is the child of the Doctor and the TARDIS, which I think is quite feasible.
Also, I want an icon of Eleven in the Nine/Ten control room.
Remarkably low on fail for Gaiman, as there's no room for it. He's too busy taking a lot of canon concepts, both old and new school, and turning them on their heads, rather effectively.
All in all, very sweet but not saccharine.
ETA: Also, we always did suspect that the TARDIS takes the Doctor where he needs to be rather than where he wants to go.
