Today in My Brain Is Weird:
We do quite a bit of laundry here, as our washer is (by my US standards) quite small...and I hate the sound of the spin cycle. HATE. It is loud and sounds like a plane taking off and lasts a good seven minutes.
god I hate loud things haaaaaate. This was why I hated the vacuum cleaner when I was a kid, the combined high and low pitch of loud. It makes my skin crawl.
This could be part of the reason I don't go to music gigs much.
Randomly: someday I will name a story or a fic or a vid 'this dry and troubled country'. I've been meaning to for years, and I haven't found an excuse for it yet.
