In were_duck's comment above, she links an interesting blog post by N.K. Jemisin on Darre as thought experiment. Unfortunately because of what she says there, I'm not thoroughly convinced we'll see loads more of that nation...which is a pity. Maybe she'll take convincing!

Thanks for your thoughts on the incest thing. It makes a good deal of sense to me, and I don't know why I didn't think of it. I don't have more to say at the moment, I am not braining very well.
