Iiiiii...think that article would be infinitely better were it not insisting on a definitive analysis of the film in a pretentious mansplainy way.

The whole metacommentary on film thing is cool, but the rest of it really takes a far too simplistic view--imho, it all being definitely a dream makes things far too easy. I think it's infinitely better to leave it to individual interpretation. Personally, I think the dreamlike nature of the film's construction highlights the very incorporeal and self-defined nature of our own realities. Which, iirc, is ALSO discussed in the film.
