At some point I got old and boring.
Right, so today is my 27th birthday. Last year on my birthday, I had to:
- go to a job interview in town for my work placement, in the morning
- give a presentation worth a substantial portion of my grade, in the late afternoon
- accomplish both things with a sinus infection that had manifested as laryngitis
It all turned out well in the end, and one of my coursemates made me a cake, and we had drinks in the union after class, but as a result, I am doing FUCK ALL today.
Therefore, you have been warned that RP tags and fandom and comments and things will be slow because I intend to spend most of today eating digestive biscuits and napping and maybe watching Star Trek: TNG at 4 pm on Channel One. Though I may have to go outside in the gale force wind to get more digestives.
Also, my husband got me the new Professor Layton and Sylvanian Families and a card with a kitten because he is excellent.
(My mother got me, among other more useful things, winter-holiday decorative hand towels. They are cute, yes, but I have no idea what I'm going to do with them as we really have nowhere to put hand towels that are not going to be USED.)
