Yeah, I hear you; it took me a long time to get used to tumblr's perpetual-motion cycle, and it's been weird to realize that I'll never "finish" tumblr or keep up with it, or anything. (Lo these many years ago when I was in high school, I actually was able to "finish" the internet—I read every article in the Yahoo listings at the time for areas I was interested in. Those were the days!) Weirdly, though, I find that the pace of tumblr turns into a filtering mechanism of sorts—I end up reblogging only those things I really care about, after a time.

YMMV, though, obviously. :)
