- I actually got it in cultural studies and minored in film, but...I did enjoy the crap out of it. The main problem I had is that cultural studies does not mesh well with film theory--I'm far more interested in film as storytelling and cultural mirror, rather than film as art and philosophical medium, and I had a really difficult time with that. As for interests, I really like queer film, British and US portrayals of each others' history on screen, and I wish there was more scholarship about science fiction film.

- I like Beverly Crusher a lot after RPing her--I think they could have gone far more interesting places with her than they did in canon. Likewise with T'Pol. I'm fond of Jadzia Dax and Kira though I haven't seen nearly enough DS9. Spock is brilliant. I like Reboot Kirk, or maybe just my version of him in my head. I like Janeway for reasons I can't fully articulate.

And Picard is my captain emotionally, though Sisko is probably more so intellectually.

- Make a full-length film with whomever I wanted to be cast. Seriously.
