I'm sincerely disappointed in Footloose, because I honestly think it could be remade really well. The thing is, you'd have to make it a period piece. Hell, it should've been a period piece back in the 80s, too, but now it's extra-ridiculous that it's supposed to be set in the present. It'd be so much fun to kick it back to the turn of the last century and make the preacher complain about Vernon and Irene Castle and the wicked things that Rudy Valentino did on the silver screen...and then I would be the only person who went to see it.

Real Steel is just lucky it didn't have to call itself Rockem Sockem Robots: The Movie.

Also, there's a Logan's Run for today? I wasn't aware of this. D: It's rare that a week goes by without my saying "I hate Outside!"--I love Logan's Run way more than I probably should (though not quite as much as Soylent Green).
