Dear Doer of Darkness,
Hi there!
I totally signed up for Kaleidoscope to offer rather than to receive, truth be told (some fandoms I'd love to vid), so I sort of just named things I'd like to see and left it at that in my form. Ack. Here's some elaboration.
Generally speaking, I am more interested in the stories of women and other-gendered people than guys, and I like gen and UST much more than romance. I also love sci-fi, particularly cultural analysis therein; while I like plot, I enjoy the crap out of expanded world-building and character study. Social commentary and queering narratives are my favourite things in fic at the moment.

Requested Fandom: Lunar Year's End - Jaymee Goh
- Fanwork Types: Fanfiction, Fanart, Graphics
- Characters: Ching Seow Fen, Yap Siew Fei
- Details: Any/all. I'd really just love to see more of this universe, truth be told, characters are just a suggestion.
Additional Notes: While I really like the interaction between Siew Fei and Seow Fen--and ooh, I would like even more gender roles examination there--I'm also fond of the wee lads on the ship crew, so feel free to put them in.

Requested Fandom: Xenogenesis Series - Octavia E. Butler
- Fanwork Types: Fanfiction, Fanart, Graphics
- Characters: Jodahs (Lilith's Brood), Lilith Iyapo
- Details: It'd be nifty to tie in religious belief and faith more into the ooloi parts of the series, or play even a bit more with gender than Butler already did. Ooloi and a genderqueer narrative, maybe?
Additional Notes: I'd also like anything to do with Akin's time with the Resisters, should the genderqueer stuff not be your cuppa. There are so many interesting things to unpack with that regarding race and colonisation, feel free to run with it.
