Do you think it feels colder here than it does at home w/the same temperature? I think it might--possibly b/c of the damp? I have a coworker who lived in New York during the winter & she agrees.

But also, I'm used to places -- offices, my house, public transit -- being heated more than they are here. It's one thing to be out in the cold if you can go into a cozy house/workplace, quite another when you go in & it's still not exactly toasty.
