While I've been mulling over how to explain this for a long while, littlebutfierce's post about someone's massive fail just now is pretty much an example of why I don't regularly read metafandom.

I know I'm missing out, but I'm sure I would probably have a bloody stroke at the ridiculousness of Some People's Opinions on a daily basis.
