So I finished The Broken Kingdoms. It took a while for me to get into it, thanks to these periods of time where my brain does not want to read fiction, but then hit the whole holy shit compelling stage a couple days ago and finished.
It was good, but would have been better if things for Oree hadn't been an exponential barrage of terrible things happening. 100K Kingdoms didn't strike me that way as much, there were breaks in the incessant nature of the suspense--here it was like, if Oree coughed, it started a tornado that was going to destroy everything she loved, and the reader could see the tornado coming. idek.
In other news, don't think I'm gonna play POTF this month, nae energy.
