Dear self: despite toft's amazing Mythbusters fics, writing your own character study of what M5 would be like in TNG Trek era San Francisco is maybe not the best plan.
(BUT IT WOULD BE AWESOME, LOOKING AT THE MEDIA INDUSTRY IN THE 24TH CENTURY, AND DOING SOME BENDING WITH IT TOO OMG.)
