Therefore, DW is less with the everyday and the squee and more about deeper thoughts. Well, okay, sometimes. And sometimes I am just angry. After continued LJ fail and the expiration of my paid account there, everything now gets cross-posted.

If you met me at WisCon 34, I am indeed That Person who was working on That Documentary About Fandom, also known as the Overambitious Dissertation. It is now complete, but there is more to come with it eventually.

I am also a/n: legal adult, US American expatriate, vaguely acafan with an AMS/Film undergrad degree and a media MA, LJDW and Tumblr-based RPer, and media and SF lit fandom geek.
who is inexplicably fond of: classic rock, feminist SF, Matthew Macfadyen's woobie and David Tennant's manpain, obscure parts of the DCU and Marvel verses alongside indie comics, and lattes.

If you care about these things, I am an INTJ (mostly manifesting in me not taking any shit) who leans towards INFJ (emotional, artistic, and humanist) principles in application.
